I'm Sorry - You Want Room 12A Just Along The Corridor...

As a border child who was born and raised just south of Detroit over in Canada's Sun Parlour, Essex County, I was exposed to one of Canada's own hotbeds of bigotry and prejudice. Although we fit more of the other saying - we weren't prejudiced, we hated everybody!

Anyhow,... I wanted to preface this joke which I got from one of my good friends down in Tomato Town, Canada**:

Canadian Survivor

CBC Television is developing a Canadian version of "Survivor" the popular TV show.

The rules are simple:

Each contestant must travel to Saskatchewan and go from Estevan to LaRonge through Weyburn, Stoughton,Carlyle,Moosimi, Grenfell, Indian Head, Regina, Moose Jaw, Swift Current,Maple Creek, Leader, Kinndersley, North Battleford, Saskatoon, Humbolt, Yorkton, Porcupine Plain, Melfort, Nipawin, Prince Albert, Shellbrook and back to Estevan again, driving a Volvo with a bumper sticker that reads:

"I voted for Chretien. I'm from Ontario, I'm Gay, and I'm here to take your Guns".

The first to complete the round-trip alive is the winner.

** - Do you know what the Tomato Capital of Canada is? And, no, I can't hum a few bars so you can fake it...
