Funny Farm Blog Feature

We prefer to praise rather than to slag here at the Funny Farm. And there are many sites out there who are expert at analyzing content. How do you talk about one of them?

Especially when they used to do the same thing at one time. And they were known far and wide for their, ahem, inspired analysis. Although I'm pretty sure they never got around to mentioning our old digs. And I see that they haven't mentioned my new ones, either (hint, hint).

And lately - since oh, around March or so - they've been dueling complementing the Funny Farm as we have created a haiku for every post over at busy busy busy since February 22 of this year (not that we've been keeping track or anything). There's also been lots of haiku at their site, along with many many different themed sets of posts, including a bunch of TV song theme parodies, as well as insightful commentary on life, the universe, and everything.

If you are like the other regular reader who has no clue about who I'm referring to yet, you need to go to this song parody. Check out the original post and follow the links within the song parody - all of the potions that are in bold text in the box below are linked to a bunch of stories you should take the time to impress on your memory engrams. Then click on the link at the top of the page that says Main and read the rest of the posts on his blog. It is mostly all pure gold.

June 25, 2004, Meet the Puppets

It's time to bomb Fallujah
It's time to fight Shiites
It's time to meet the Puppets on the Sovereignty Transfer sound-bite.

It's time to put on makeup
It's time to send more and keep 'em there to fight
It's time to raise the curtain on the Puppet Show... contrite(Not quite!).

Why do we always come here
I guess we'll never know
I guess we like the torture
So Let's all enjoy the show

And now let's get things started
You'd best get your asses guarded
It's time to get things started
On the most sensational usurpational
f*@k-our-nation-al Bush-Che-nation-al
This is what we call the Puppet Show

The Funny Farm salutes the Talking Dog. We'll be there a lot more often now that they're in the Links Zone, and we hope you will be, too!

You do realize that The Funny Farm has (by popular demand) been added to the "dog run"...

Yes, I do! Thanks for that - and it is a privilege and an honor...
