An ad from the Repugnicant Party of Floriduh ![]() |
It is so interesting to see that the Repugnicants are blaming the Democrats for the things that they themselves have been doing. But so typical for these two faced lying bastards. I wonder if you could possibly find a way to get to the official Democratic Party Absentee Ballot Request Form if you were to contact these people? That's okay, though. If you really need to get one, you can click here (warning: PDF file - Abode Reader required) and get a copy of the form to send to the Florida Democrats to request one of their absentee ballots.
Apologies, dear readers, but you might be seeing a couple of pieces providing some slight insight into some personal reasons for my outrage at anyone who can continue to mouth Repugnicant talking points after seeing the carnage that pRezNit Prozac has wreaked on the country since he usurped office in 2000. And that's all I'm gonna say about that right now. Time to get ready for another week in the working world...
Posted by (: Tom :) at August 1, 2004 09:06 PMNow this is a first. Aren't the Republicans tacitly admitting that they and/or their friends at Diebold caused the very problems of which they've been accused? The ad says 'the Democrats have already begun their attacks,' but goes on to say you should order an absentee ballot. You wouldn't need to do that if the machines were well-made and a good idea in the first place! "Uh, we're not guilty or anything, but go ahead and do what our opponents have suggested you'll need to do anyway." The makers of the machines have been saying you don't need a paper trail...and then the *party* comes along and makes 'em look stupid right here. Oh, this is great! :) Delicious indeed.
Posted by: Donna at August 1, 2004 11:36 PMThe sad thing about the whole situation is that it could have been done easily and efficiently while making it transparent and providing a paper trail for later recount requirements. IF an ATM machine can produce a paper trail, then why not a voting machine? It is also widely rumored* that they basically modified a variant of the ATM machines anyhow and had to unplug the print units for the machine when they put them together in the first place.
* - widely rumored = outside of tinfoil helmet territory yet strangely not reported on by the media whores...
Posted by: (: Tom :) at August 2, 2004 11:05 PMI hate to be a nitpicker....but did they spell it "the official Repubican Party ballot"?
Come to think of it, regular cash registers and giant calculators have a little print machine, which gives you a paper record of your work. So, the federal election people are right behind every grocery store and grade school child in the country. Ha ha ha ha ha ha [ptthpht] ha ha ha ha ha, ooooh. Do we have some kind of election fraud slime-o-meter or something? Is this on a scale that beats Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos yet?
