I think it is particularly eerie that the spikes happened at almost exactly the same time during these wars, relatively speaking (especially the one at month 14). The magnitude of the spikes are somewhat, um, larger, in our current quagmire, but, you know, that's because there's a bumbling village idiot mucking about in the Oval Orifice these days.
