Whaaaa?

It doesn't take much to confuse the heck out of us here at the Funny Farm these days. For example, I'm pretty sure these two articles are talking about the same economy:

Economic Growth Better Than Thought

Economy Grows at Weakest Rate in a Year

I guess it's just really surprising that all of the major media outlets are not in complete lockstep on every issue. Will heads roll at the Associated Press? Or will this particular economic writer be assigned to write about the finer points of the Mongolian economy from the middle of the Gobi Desert?
