Cognitive Disconnect

The good: listeners in the metro Detroit area are now able to listen to some of the programs put together by Air America radio.

The bad: These radio programs are being carried by one of the local Clear Channel radio stations, WDTW (1310 on your AM dial).

The ugly: These radio programs are featuring advertisements for joining the Army, among other Republic scams.

We sometimes find ourselves listening to WDTW, but not for too long - because we can't handle the knowledge that, in order to support progressive radio, we'd have to buy into the crap their advertisers are spewing.
