In The "We Can't Believe We're Actually Seeing This" Department

Rice Urges China to Embrace Religious Freedom. Hey, you Chinese don't seem to be worshipping the same God that my husb-, that my president seems to be worshipping. And your government officially frowns on some religions, instead of letting the more radical religiously insane among you suppress religion on their own. Get with the program!

In other amazing news, pRezNit Perpetual Vacation can't get off his duff to take care of what gub'ment should be worrying about. But he sure has enough time to intervene in the wishes of the medical services company that is making a fortune trying to keep Terry Schaivo in her vegetative state a brain-dead husk who asked to be taken off life support if extraordinary means were required to keep her alive. He has the time to intervene against her wishes, that is. Funny how this decision helps the big medical corporations, and pays lip-service to the religious right. Never mind that pResident Two-Timing Backstabber signed a law in Texas that expressly gave hospitals the right to remove life support if the patient could not pay and there was no hope of revival, regardless of the patient's family's wishes (coughcoughflipflopcoughcough). It must be that there is still some money left over somewhere in the Schiavo family...
