Moral Equivalence, Republic Style

No More Mister Nice Blog makes a very interesting comparison, and we gotta say that we admire his logic here. We feel compelled to add that he is being kind to Peggy Noonan because he completely overlooks giving her a well deserved castigation for comparing every single animal protection organization she could think of*, along with those who oppose the death penalty and those opposed to spousal abuse, to, um, well, Nazis. For anyone not aware that Publicans immediately seize upon the worst in their enemies to justify their own outrageous behavior, please read this. And bear in mind that Nooners is one the more mildly insane right wing media whores around these days. Or, rather, she was, before this piece of intellectual kimchee came out.

* - giving us quite an odd flashback to a Married With Children episode where sports facts start going into Kelly's melon in one ear - and family, friends, and personal facts start being forced out the other. Apparently we have found the limit of evil librul environmentalist whackos that can be held in Nooner's short term memory at any one time.

Update: Apparently Norbizness has some problems with Peggy's latest flight into faith-based journalism too... and caught the obligatory abortion references that we overlooked in our haste. Good job!
