Koufax Awards Voting

Sunday, 25 Priming 2006

Well, the final nominees have been selected for the Koufax Awards over at Wampum. And since it looks like I might be on a roll with this blogging thang again, I thought I would share with you, dear reader, how I cast my votes this year.

The envelopes, please:

Best Blog (non-pro): Crooks & Liars
Best Blog Community: The Daily Kos
Best Blog (pro/sponsor): Think Progress
Best Group Blog: Pandagon
Best Post: Hullabaloo: The Resentment Tribe by Digby
Best Series: eRiposte of The Left Coaster for his series on Treasongate: The Niger Forgeries
Best Writing: Suburban Guerrilla - Susie Madrak
Best Expert Blog: Orcinus
Best Single Issue: Media Matters
Most Humorous Blog: Jeebus' General
Most Humorous Post: The Poor Man's The Wanker-Winginut Continuum
Best state and local Blog: Burnt Orange Report
More Deserving of Wider Recognition: The Mahablog
Best New Blog: Unclaimed Territory by Glenn Greenwald
Best Commenter: Norbizness

As usual, the voting was very difficult - there are an awful lot of good nominees, and everyone who made it to the finals should be proud that they've gotten this far. Congratulations to everyone still getting votes. And hopefully we can break our own trend and actually vote for more than one of the eventual winners this year...
