And so we come to the final episode of this exercise in infotainment. Praise Koresh that I didn't put anything in that I thought would be seriously challenging to an audiophile. This is the tenth song in the Guess Ten, Hoser Edition post I put up here a while ago:
World On Fire
The worlds on fire its more then I can handle Hearts are worn in these dark ages Chorus I watch the heavens but I find no calling Chorus Hearts break hearts mend love still hurts We part the veil on our killer sun Chorus From the album Afterglow by Sarah McLachlan |
Editors Note: This artist is a personal fave here at the Funny Farm (surprise! so is everybody else on the list), and, while not one of her biggest hits, this song was one of what I thought would be the relatively easier of the songs to get in my quiz. I thought this choice was not all that obscure, but still somewhat challenging.
These lyrics are lifted wholesale from Sarah's lyric sheet on the internets.
