Yes, indeed, they broke the mold when they put me together:
I used both of the main variants of my first name (Tom and Thomas) in my search. But I have my doubts about the results - this gadget tells me there are no others with my surname in the country, and I know there are a few in the immediate vicinity*. It's still nice to think that I'm relatively unique...
* - Plus, Zabasearch shows some people with my last name in Kully-Fornia, and a Cheesehead in Green Bay, WI - only when I'm looking for my own full name (there are too many references to my surname in their database search to narrow the results enough to display the results - I have to use my first name for it to be displayed).

They couldn't find my surname either and I know of at least 40 families with that name

It was a decent try for a QaD* effort. It might be scary to (a) know the truth and/or (b) know that they know and can know quite easily if they really want to...
