Quick Notes From A Frozen Journey

Fryday, 4 Shivring 2007

- I have a new appreciation of the driving skills of any motorists brave enough to drive in the Great White North over the past weekend, and somewhat less of an idea why they don't slow down from their usual 120 kph when there's a half an inch of snow on the highway after the salt trucks have gone by;

- lake effect snow can turn even a relatively short journey from the Tomato Capital of Canada into an arduous trek back to civilization;

- sometimes homebrewed beer, if it is prepared and stored properly, can last over eight years in the bottle while maintaining the taste and drinkability it was originally intended to have;

- they don't call it Waterloo for nothing;

- I have to be one of the luckiest beings in the multiverse right about now. I'm not saying it's all good luck - I'm just sayin'
