It's been a while, kiddies, and there's so little to say, and so much time to say it...

Wait. Strike that, and reverse it.*

And it seems that the not-so-good times will continue in at least one of my personal circles, as a good friend has recently found out that he has a nasty case of melanoma. So he's looking forward (cough) to some intense treatment, and hopefully a remission or cessation of the condition. I'm probably going to be heading his way soon, and I'd be happy to pass him along any good thoughts and hopes of getting through this. Get well, soon, bud - so that (among other things) we can spend many more years rooting for the Habs together!

On the other side of the karmic wheel, I am happy to let all and sundry know that I will be attending a birthday blowout for two smoking hotties (twins!) in the near future, upon the occasion of their nineteenth birthday. Now that they can drink in Canadian bars legally, I'm sure they will be finding out first hand how many people will stand a pretty girl a drink in the hopes that fun and adventure will ensue.

Otherwise, it's fall Meerkun football season again - where did the summer go? - and the new product roll out I'm interested in involves Trent Green displaying Marino-like capabilities and Jet, Bills, and Patriot spankings over the next several weeks. In my current unrealistic best-case scenarios. I'll probably just witness more Fin dismantling as is usual these days...

The current misadministration continues in its' record levels of hypocrisy, lies, high crimes, and ruination of the nation. Every day the BFEE extends their record further. IMHO when somehow they can be gotten out of most things (there's no way they can be gotten out of everything) there might be a semblance of a chance to get back on track.

Which brings me to my last point** - I've added a few things to the Funny Farm Country Store (in particular, a bumper sticker that expresses my sentiments about the results of BFEE policies rather well). You can always get there from this site by clicking on the big picture of the Back Forty at the top of this web page. And you can always buy stuff from there if you like, too!

I'm not really sure when or where the blogging bug will strike again. There might be a (so mind blowingly easy) Guess Ten (at least 'round these parts) in the future, with prizes and such. And there might be something so utterly off my personal scale that my fingers will be compelled to add to the InterTubez clutter regarding its' absurdity. You just never know...
