The Funny Farm Links Zone is an ongoing work, and often reflects the departure and arrival of new tenants on the Fashionable Left Bank of Blogistan relatively soon after I have found out they have vacated / settled in. Of course, I am occasionally a little slow in picking up on things. But I usually manage to get things done. Eventually.
So it is with a heavy heart that we bid a fond farewell to one of the mainstays round these parts, T. Rex's Guide To Life. You'll still be able to find his postings at the Florida Progressive Coalition Blog link that has now been added to the links zone, though.
I'm also somewhat sad to have decided to remove the Old Bald Fat Liberal (at least, he's one of the ones who admit to the title..) from the zone as well. Larry has had the muse dry up on him for a while. And it is truly sad to see that The Left has chosen to discontinue his bloggy goodness over at Happy Furry Puppy Story Time, and beg norbizness to let me know where he's going to be on Teh Intartoobz (besides in the comments of many of the blogs I frequent) from now on.
But, I am pleased to welcome (soon!) the Intell series of blogs as well as put up a separate Alternative Energy Links sub-zone (and humbly request that you feed me your favorite linkage in that area* by commenting to this post below) in the links.
I'm also thinking about a blog redesign that will minimize my page loads (yeah, I know - I should have taken care of it a long time ago), and another new sub-zone with even more reality-based content, to celebrate four years of internet hosting from Computer Tyme services. Feel free to let me know if you have any ideas on the subject that don't include spam-like objects (or, alternatively, feel free to test the effectiveness of the anti-spam system my host provides for me by including said spam-like objects) in the comments.
Things have been pretty sparse around this place lately. That's what happens sometimes when you're the only one at the joint. I'm thinking that it might be somewhat connected to the state of well being (or lack thereof) that occurs when I'm not in survival mode on a more or less constant basis and can focus on producing journamalistically infotaining blogtastical postings for all and sundry.
* - please put links in (at least) the form wwwdoturldotcom as opposed to using the href html tag unless you check your work. Comments with more than one link in them are not posted until I approve them. I know it's a pain in the buttocks, but I'm thinking of disabling links in comments altogether because of the spambots. So, if it is used properly it might be kept on on a limited basis. Just sayin'...
