pRetzelDunce Unprecedented Failure Predicts GOP Will Hold White House. Excuse me for a moment: HahahahahahahaHaHaHaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! [wipes tears from laughing too hard] I've heard of some seriously clueless wonders in my time. But to say this, while enjoying (cough) historical lows in popularity - man, that's some Limbaugh level chemical refreshment going on there. Let's hear some more from Chief Executive Screen Door On A Submarine:
The Cokespoon Cowboy predicted Monday that voters will replace him with a Republican president who will "keep up the fight" in Iraq. "I'm confident we'll hold the White House in 2008," pResident Dunsel told donors at the Republican Governors Association annual dinner, which raised a record $10.6 million for GOP gubernatorial candidates. |
Also, a pony in every pot, and the Invisible Sky Fairy will grant your every wish! As long as you vote Republican't...
"And I don't want the next Republican't president to be lonely," the Texas Souffle said. "And that is why we got to take the House, retake the Senate, and make sure our states are governed by Republican't governors." |
Isn't it nice that he's worrying now, after he's trashed the party and ruined its' chances for at least the forseeable future?
He said Republican'ts still offer the bedrock positions that rich voters embrace: strong defense, low taxes and personal freedoms. |
Maybe he should take into account the views of the 80+ percent of the american people, who might slightly disagree on the bedrock positions that voters embrace, or even if the Republican'ts offer those positions. Especially considering that the Republican'ts have weakened america's defense, raised overall taxes (while deflating the economy and inflating prices. This is the true Republican't trifecta, folks...), and reducing individual personal freedoms for all americans.
"When I say I'm confident, I am so because I understand the mentality of the American people," pResident Clueless Moran said. "And I understand the mentality of our candidates. And there's no question in my mind, with your help, 2008 is going to be a great year." |
I understand that this is one of the first times the Idiot in Thief has used the word mentality properly. Unless the media has cleaned up the transcript again...
In Congress, Democrats took control of the House and Senate in 2006. Drinky McDumbA$$ has sought to remain relevant through his veto power and bully pulpit. |
Isn't it amazing how someone who never vetoed legislation brought forth by his Republican't lackeys when they controlled Congress, and now vetoes pretty much everything now that it is being brought to his desk by Democratic politicians, can be considered to be seeking to remain relevant through his veto power, as opposed to reflexively gumming up the words like a child engaging in a temper tantrum? Sounds like the liberal (cough) mainstream media is up to its old tricks again, and for such a supposedly liberal media, it sure seems to push the Republican't spin on this sort of thing.
I wonder what they would say if it was Democrats who were gumming things up, instead of Republican'ts? Oh, that's right - they still say it's all the Democrats' fault. Funny how that works...
"I believe the American people understand that success in Iraq is necessary for the long-term security of the American people," Bush said. "And we will elect somebody to the White House who will keep up the fight to make sure Iraq is secure and free." |
And I firmly believe that most of the american people have already figured out that the Man Who Drowned New Orleans is the worst president ever and has absolutely no clue about anything that comes out his vacuous pie hole. And that Republican'ts know this, but consciously lie their a$$es off about it whenever somebody calls them out on their lies.

The Funny Farm Links Zone is an ongoing work, and often reflects the departure and arrival of new tenants on the Fashionable Left Bank of Blogistan relatively soon after I have found out they have vacated / settled in. Of course, I am occasionally a little slow in picking up on things. But I usually manage to get things done. Eventually.
So it is with a heavy heart that we bid a fond farewell to one of the mainstays round these parts, T. Rex's Guide To Life. You'll still be able to find his postings at the Florida Progressive Coalition Blog link that has now been added to the links zone, though.
I'm also somewhat sad to have decided to remove the Old Bald Fat Liberal (at least, he's one of the ones who admit to the title..) from the zone as well. Larry has had the muse dry up on him for a while. And it is truly sad to see that The Left has chosen to discontinue his bloggy goodness over at Happy Furry Puppy Story Time, and beg norbizness to let me know where he's going to be on Teh Intartoobz (besides in the comments of many of the blogs I frequent) from now on.
But, I am pleased to welcome (soon!) the Intell series of blogs as well as put up a separate Alternative Energy Links sub-zone (and humbly request that you feed me your favorite linkage in that area* by commenting to this post below) in the links.
I'm also thinking about a blog redesign that will minimize my page loads (yeah, I know - I should have taken care of it a long time ago), and another new sub-zone with even more reality-based content, to celebrate four years of internet hosting from Computer Tyme services. Feel free to let me know if you have any ideas on the subject that don't include spam-like objects (or, alternatively, feel free to test the effectiveness of the anti-spam system my host provides for me by including said spam-like objects) in the comments.
Things have been pretty sparse around this place lately. That's what happens sometimes when you're the only one at the joint. I'm thinking that it might be somewhat connected to the state of well being (or lack thereof) that occurs when I'm not in survival mode on a more or less constant basis and can focus on producing journamalistically infotaining blogtastical postings for all and sundry.
* - please put links in (at least) the form wwwdoturldotcom as opposed to using the href html tag unless you check your work. Comments with more than one link in them are not posted until I approve them. I know it's a pain in the buttocks, but I'm thinking of disabling links in comments altogether because of the spambots. So, if it is used properly it might be kept on on a limited basis. Just sayin'...

A big shout out to whomever it was in North Carolina Research and Education Network (NCREN), the individual who was referred here by Vitrual Pus*, the glazzies that viddied us from Lubin, Poland (as long as you haven't been sending spam our way), and someone in the UAE**, who have chosen to utilize some of their valuable time to visit this web site. Thanks for dropping by. I hope you found what you were looking for...
* - who have a blog roll composed entirely of icons. Message to the artist formerly known as Pusboy and Magical Shrimp: email me - I would like to ask you about your web page design and possibly provide you with a picture for you to use. And thanks very much for linking here - it is a continual thrill to find that, for a podunk blog on the far end of the Fashionable Left Bank of Blogistan, this site sure does pop up in the oddest places (as far as I'm concerned). And I'm a little overwhelmed by the amount of content over there. Someday soon I will at least sample the podcasts...
** - who are cryptically (but not too much - google E t i s a l a t and check the Wkikpedia entry after putting it all back together again) referred to here; not linked to in case our site is somewhat of an access portal that is reachable in their zone, and we can manage to avoid giving their show away; and seem to have been desperately looking for anything funny while being able to access the intertoobz. How the winds of karma brought them here from there is a mystery for others to puzzle over.

Wasn't it a Republican't spokesweasel who said "here are reminders to all Americans that they need to watch what they say, watch what they do, and this is not a time for remarks like that; there never is." when defending a Republican't government funded black ops campaign against Bill Maher?
The Putsch cabal knew they were illegally spying on us even before 9-11 and they actively used that knowledge to harass americans.
Congress (including my own supposedly Democratic senator) voted today to ignore the lawbeaking the telecoms have already engaged in. I cannot seem to be able to determine whether the changes to FISA will continue to allow the telecoms to engage in illegal surveillance of americans - maybe somebody can point me to the relevant portions of the bill? - but I also seem to be missing out on whether that is up for discussion..
All of which means that, among other things, all communications that involve an american communications device and a non-american communications device will be run through the Carnivore and Echelon applications at a minimum. Being a cell phone owner whose immediate family and most friends are resident in the Great White North, let's just say that I think I have reason to believe that I might have passed through the filters once or twice. Being a somewhat (cough) vocal critic of the people doing the monitoring has often given the denizens of the Funny Farm pause. But [matrix agent voice] I pay my taxes. So there's that.
Then again, just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean there isn't (at least one) somebody out to get me...
