Tom sorry to see this end.....I hope you have some luck in the job search. I was let go on Nov 4 after 14 plus years and the boat factory. I'm enjoying my UI extension and thinking about looking for a job in a few months. The way I see it this might be my retirement.

I never knew there were so many spammers that have resorted to posting crappy little messages in comments. Too bad I was one of those civilized people who thought it would be polite to let comments stay open after I stopped blogging. I guess the old saw is still true: no good deed goes unpunished.

Your RSS feed doesn't work in my browser (google chrome) how can I fix it?

Hi, how are you doing? I truly like your blog! I am wondering if you can assist me (im sure your other subscribers might also be interested). I want to get involved in blogging as well and I at the moment have a blog with wordpress, but it is very confusing for me to use and I would instead like to attempt to build my blog using movable type rather to see if it might be easier. As a movable type web master yourself, do you maybe know where i could get tutorials to be able to do this? Thanks!

There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game.

Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
